The Alienware Aurora is a computer from Alienware, and is one of the company's most popular models.
Being positioned between the Area-51 and the top-of-the-line Aurora ALX, the Aurora comes standard with options which make the computer incredibly fast but not as prohibitively expensive as an ALX computer. Standard features include factory-overclocked processors with Turbo Boost 2.0, liquid cooling, support for nVidia SLI/ATI CrossFireX, up to 16GB DDR3 internal memory, and Alienware Command Center, which controls fan speeds, lighting colors, and other things about the computer.
In late 2016, Alienware introduced newer Aurora models to grace the usage of 6th, 7th, and 8th generation of Intel processors as well as NVIDIA GeForce 1000 (Pascal) series. These newer desktops are also VR compatible and use DDR4 RAM. Operating systems can go as high as Windows 10 Pro. Graphics cards options include NVIDIA Pascal series and newer AMD series ones as well.
